"The History Of The "Bikers Inner Circle"

The DVD series and the internet show, “Bikers: The Inner Circle,” was born because there was a need for a real and honest look into the true heart of the biker culture—an intimate look at the people, places and history that have made this lifestyle the most envied, enjoyed (and sometimes feared) in the entire of American society.

It has been obvious for many years that the mainstream media has made the American biker into a larger-than-life folk hero and anti-hero—but there has been a high price to pay when it comes to the integrity of this way of life. The portrayal of the biker in most media has ranged from cartoon caricatures to crazed murderers and everything in between

“Bikers: The Inner Circle” has changed that.

The individuals involved in the production of this series are from the true biker’s inner circle. They have lived this lifestyle. They know the truth and the myths. They know the people who began this entire way of life after World War II; the people who kicked things up a notch during the ‘50s and ‘60s; and the people who keep it alive and strong today.

Charlie Brechtel is the foremost biker musician in the world. He and his band have played at virtually every major event from Sturgis to Hollister to Daytona. Bill Hayes is the author of “The Original Wild Ones: Tales of the Boozefighters Motorcycle Club” and has written extensively for Thunder Press, Easyriders and other biker publications. The show’s host, Jim Elrite, is a 35 year member of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club.

These men, and all those associated with this production, know the biker’s inner circle and they take great pride in presenting it with all of its power and glory—and with integrity and truth.
